Yin and Yang is a Symbol with deep meaning. It is a symbol that represents the connection and opposite forces of the universe. That in the opposing forces of nature, one is not without the other. It symbolizes the Balance and Harmony of all things.
For this necklace I chose the stones, Black Onyx, Moonstone, and Dragon Vein Agate. Together Onyx and Moonstone Represent each side of Yin and Yang. Moonstone symbolizes the energy of Yin, the feminine aspect of Yin and Yang, while Black Onyx symbolizes Yang, the masculine principle. The two stones together are said to promote Emotional Intuition, Protection, and Grounding. Dragon Vein Agate adds attributes of it's own. It is symbolic of Wisdom, Protection, and Balance. It is also said to promote Inner Peace, offer Emotional Protection, and Shield against negative energy.
The Romans believed that Moonstone was solidified moonlight, and associated it with their Moon Goddess. It is said to bring Good Luck and Harmony. Moonstone symbolizes Love, and Intuition. It is thought to promote peaceful and creative dreams. It is believed that Moonstone can help to enhance Psychic Abilities and Clairvoyance.
