Peace Be With You

    Where is your Peaceful place? Is it a Beach, with the Waves kissing the Shore? Is it a Forest, serenaded by Birds? Maybe it's in the Quiet of the Hills and Mountains, with waves of Land stretching out before you?

    Whatever your Peaceful place is, you can take it Anywhere. In your Mind's Eye you can see the green-blue of the Sea, the canopy of green leafy Trees, or the Snow atop the Mountains. You can hear the Water crashing down, the Birds Singing, and the Wind blowing along the Cliff face. 

     Take a Breath and hold it, Remembering the smell of the Ocean, the Earth of the Forest, or the cool Mountain Air. The smell of burning Wood near a Fire. Hold that Breath and hold onto that Thought, and then Breathe out again.

    When you're Feeling tense or anxious, Remember to Breathe. Relaxing your shoulders tells your body that it is not the time to fight or run. Think of that Peaceful place, whatever it is, and let your Mind go there. 

    I know in the Moment it is difficult to think of these things. To try and Breathe and Relax your posture. Sometimes in the Moment all you can think about is the fear or anger that courses through your veins as you hold your Breath and your muscles become tense. 

    This Blog is about letting that go. If nothing is wrong where you sit Right Now, Focus on what is before you. If what is before you is unpleasant and causes you anxiety and unhappiness, try and take your Mind somewhere else. 

    Find that Peaceful scene. The feel of the Sand between your toes and the cry of the gulls as they wander the Shore. The crunch of Leaves and trilling of Crickets. The feel of the Wind on your skin. Think of your Senses, and the sensations that would follow. 

    Breathe in... Hold... Breathe out. Like the ebb and Flow of the Tide. Like the Wind. Let go of your troubles and worries. A good share of the time, our worries and agitations are not as important as we make them. Breathe in... Hold it... Breathe out. And with that Breath out, let go of what troubles you.

     When I was a Child I had difficulty with getting to Sleep. I Remember my Mother one Night, told me to Focus on Relaxing different parts of my body, until all I could Feel was Relaxed. Relax your shoulders, then your arms, your hands, your fingers. Let the weight of your body yield to gravity, and become one with the Earth.

    The key is your Focus. Examine your Inner Thoughts. Push aside the unpleasant ones, or replace them altogether. You don't have to hold onto those Thoughts. If something is wrong, and there's nothing you can do about it this Moment, this very second, then why hold onto them like a vice? Breathe in... Hold it... Breathe out. Let it go. 

    Everything Works Out, One Way or Another. Believe that. Believe it with every ounce of your Being. You will have Everything that you Need.

    Let go of worry and anger. We all are moving in the same direction in Time. Ask Yourself, in the grand scheme of things, is this really worth all of the worry? Let your stress and worry dissolve. Melt away. Let it go. It's ok. The world will continue to turn. Life will go on. Make your Journey one worth Remembering, and Enjoy it.

    Breathe. Relax. Go to your Peaceful place. Live in the Moment
