"she's brimming with confidence" "

This is the definition as Google defines it. If we go by this definition, the core components are Belief and Trust.

It's a Surety, whether this is in Yourself or what you are attempting to do. Without Confidence, how can anyone possibly take their first step towards anything? Even your literal first steps must've taken a degree of Confidence. (I can't say for sure because I don't remember that far back, but I would think so)

I do; however, remember a part in one of the Never Ending Story movies, where the kid had to walk between two statues that would blow him up if he wasn't Confident. Thank goodness that we ourselves don't have to undertake such a trial. This part of the story emphasizes that the physical appearance of a sizeable warrior in armor, doesn't determine someone's Worth, as the Knight in the movie was burned to a crisp before the kid went through. It's what is in someone's Heart. This is how the Statues judged those who attempted to pass through.

Look inside Yourself. What do you see? Whatever image of yourself you may conjure, whatever you feel is the essence of your being, it's still You.

Worth is an interesting concept. We all think about the Value of something or someone in our Lives, not just the Value and Worth of money. Often we turn the lense inward. Do you feel Worthy?

In the Marvel movie, Thor, The God of Thunder was banished from Asguard, and could only lift his Hammer, and regain his Powers, if he should be Worthy enough. I looked this up as well. What made Thor 'Worthy'? According to Google it was Humility, Selfless Sacrifice, Responsibility, and Honor that defined the 'Worth' required by the Spell Odin had placed on Mjolnir. Thor's Father was the one to determine his Worth here.

But how do you measure Worth? It's not like there's a magic measuring stick somewhere. It is interpreted by the standards you set yourself, or the standards and expectations of others. In your own Mind, only you can determine your own Worth.

Often times people don't feel like they are Valued or 'Worth it'. Myself I've struggled with feeling worthless. Like I'm not good enough. I'm not even really sure what my standards or expectations were at the time. I don't think I really thought about it much. It was just what I thought about myself.

One day I guess I just decided to stop thinking that way. I don't really know what changed but I started being more Confident and Believing in myself over time.

Belief is a powerful thing. It can build you up or break you down. It has shaped so much. Cultures are built around Belief. Infrastructure is built (literally) with Belief at it's core.

If you take anything away from this article, then let it be this: Believe in Yourself. Have Confidence. You are Worthy. Keep that in Mind and it's a sure path to Prosperity. If Confidence is feeling certain about something, then be certain about your own Inner Truth. Trust that You can rely on Yourself. Believe You are Worthy, because no one is truly 'worthless'. Tell yourself instead that You are Awesome. You are Amazing. By following this thinking You can turn 'can't' into 'can'. You got this. Be Confident.
